Rogers Tests Content Injection

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007Engdaget writes that Rogers and Shaw are both using the broadcast flag to prevent people trying to save their television shows for later viewing on their Windows PCs from doing so. Apparently it’s ok to use a VCR and tape it, but not ok to do the same with as computer.

Monday, April 9th, 2007This site is about the Canadian ISP Rogers’ decision to fight against the peer to peer file sharing protocol Bittorrent. They advertise plans with varying speeds, but do not honor them for certain types of online activities like using Bittorrent.
